GlobalMapper WMS & 3D PathProfiles
Hi, for all those who are not familiar with the language of this video soundtrack - pls find a short description. This tutorial was intended to present some simple tasks on using Global Mapper as an efficient WMS client, as well as how to manipulate with imported layers using Overlay Control? Center. Finally some 3D Path Profiles were generated over SRTM data together with a OSM (en example) map overlaying on top. TKS.

GlobalMapper_-_Generating_Elevation_Grid_Lines
In this short presentation I would like to show you how to overlay two different raster layers, how to visualize them in 3D View, how works Vertical Exaggeration option and finally how to generate elevation grid lines for selected area and how to export them as an ASCII XYZ file format preserving all elevation values for further usage. (sorry for the last 5sec cut-off, but my time limit ended...:-)) Enyoy

In this short tutorial I would like to present how GlobalMapper deals with transformation from one projection to another. For this presentation we used ASTER GDEM - worldwide elevation model of 1.5 arc sec resolution. Enjoy.
